    L = W + 4

    P = 2 (W + L)

    28 = 2 (W + W + 4)

    14 = 2W + 4

    2W = 10

    W = 5

    L = W + 4 = 5 + 4 = 9

    A = L x W

    A = 9 x 5

    A = 45

    answer

    A = 45 ft^2
