    Area of the hexagon will be given by:

    Area=nr^2tan (180/n)

    where;

    n=number of sides

    r=apthem

    thus;

    Area=6 * ((3) ^1/2) ^2*tan (180/6)

    Area=6*3*tan30

    Area=10.392 cm^2
