Two sides of a triangle have lengths 5 and 12. What must be true about the length of the third side?

    If it is a right triangle, the third length has to be 13.

    Otherwise, the third side must be less than 17 but greater than 7.

    5 + x > 12

    5 + 12 > x

    12 + x > 5
