James has a bag with 5 marbles in it: 3 green and 2 red. what is the probability of pulling a green marble out of the bag, setting it aside, then pulling a red marble out of the bag?

    Green: 3/5

    and then, if you pull one green marble out and set it aside ...

    red: 2/4 or 1/2

    (because the set aside marble is not in the bag anymore, therefore the 5 marbles go down to 4 marbles.)
