Each brochure is 23 centimetres wide. The table is 1.5 metres wide. Estimate how many brochures you can put side by side on the table?

    First you need to make them the say unit. I will convert the centimeters in the brochure to meters to match the table. To do this you need to divide 23 by 100 to get its meter value. that will get you. 23 meters. Then divide the length of the table by how large each brochure is (1.5/.23) this will get you about 6.5. And since you can't have half a brochure on the table you will round down to 6 brochures on the table.
