They bought 4.5 gallons of water and left it on the picnic table while they went on a hike. The raccoons busted in and drank 7 quarts of water on the first day. How many full gallons do they need to replace if they want to have exactly enough for the next three days. Will they have any extra? If so, how much?

    They do not need to replace a full gallon, only 1 quart and they will have enough for the next three days. no extra. And they will have 4.0 gal. To start with
