The formula P=0.01A^2 + 0.05A + 107 models a woman's normal systolic blood pressure, P, at age A. Use this formula to find the age, to the nearest year, of a woman whose normal systolic blood pressure is 140mm hg.

    0.01A²+0.05A+107=140

    0.01A²+0.05A-33=0

    A²+5A-3300=0

    (A+60) (A-55) = 0

    a=55 or - 60 (ignore the negative number because Age cannot be negative)

    55 is the answer.
