Here, the problem is very simple.

Just set up a proportion, then solve.

8/4 = 1/x

Cross multiply

8*x = 4*1

8x = 4

8x/8 = 4/8

x = 4/8

x = 0.5

Final answer: - For each juice box, we pay $0.50.

I would just say, ok 4 dollars for eight, then $3.00 for 6 and then $2.00 for 4 (half of eight) $1.00 for 2 juices boxes and half of that. 50 cents. Per juice box voila. Either way is great.
