    (x-2) + x + (x+2) = 111

    3x=111

    3x/3=111/3

    x=37

    x-2=

    37-2=

    35

    x+2=

    37+2=

    39

    The smallest of the 3 numbers is 35.

    Check: 35+37+39=111
