Which graph is the result of reflecting f (x) = 1/4 (8) x across the y-axis and then across the x-axis?

    Answer: Both of the equation would be y = - 2x. This produces a reflection over the x-axis and y-axis.

    The equation that you wrote was f (x) = 1/4 (8) x. If that is correct, it would simply to just f (x) = 2x which is a line through the origin. Graphing the line y = - 2x would produce a line that is a reflection through both the x-axis and y-axis.
