    Let m = slope

    m = delta (y) / delta (x)

    m = (9 - (-9)) / (-8 - (-2))

    m = (9 + 9) / (-8 + 2)

    m = 18/-6

    m = - 3

    The slope is - 3.

    Start by using the slope formula: m=y2-y1 / x2-x1

    9 - (-9) / - 8 - (-2)

    9+9/-8+2

    18/10

    9/5

    1.8

    m=1.8
