What is the slope of a line that is perpendicular to the line v=3/4 x-6

    Y = 3/4x - 6 ... the slope of this line is 3/4. A perpendicular line will have a negative reciprocal slope. To find the negative reciprocal of a number, u flip the number and change the sign. So our perpendicular line will have a slope of - 4/3 (see how I flipped 3/4 making it 4/3 ... and then change the sign ... making it - 4/3)

    so the slope of the perpendicular line is - 4/3

    U flip the regular slope and change it to negative since its perpendicular so it would be - 4/3
