The segments shown below could form a triangle. 7, 9, 12

    Pythagorean Theorom: A^2 + B^2 = C^2

    7 * 7 = 49

    9 * 9 = 81

    12 * 12 = 144

    49 + 81 = 130 which does not equal 144.

    Therefore, this could NOT form a right triangle.
