    So here you just want to move all the like terms to either sides.

    You can do this by first adding 14 to both sides.

    2/3p - 14 = p + 13

    + 14 + 14

    2/3p = p + 27

    And then by subtracting p from both sides

    -1/3p = 27

    And then dividing both sides by - 1/3

    p = - 81

    Add 14 to both sides

    2/3p=p+27

    Subtract p from both sides

    -1/3p = 27

    Multiply both sides by - 3

    p = - 81

    Final answer: p=-81
