Find the area of the triangle enclosed by these lines with the following vertices. y = x, x = 0, y = 5 (0,0), (0,5), (5,5)

    The distance of the top of the triangle is 5 because it travels from (0,5) - - > (5,5). And the side is also 5, so:

    A = 1/2•b•h

    A = 1/2•5•5 = 25/2 = 12.5 units^2
