Suppose y varies jointly as x and z. Find y when when x = - 4 and z=25, if y=206 when x=-6 and z=-11. Round your answer to the nearest hundredth, if necessary.

    Find k first to get the equation.

    206 = k * (6*11)

    206 = 66*k

    Divide both sides by 66.

    3.12 = k

    y = 3.12xz

    y = 3.12 (-4*25)
