A watering can dispenses water at a rate of 0.15 gallon per minute. The original volume of water in the can was 5 gallons. Which set of ordered pairs shows the volume of water in the can in gallons (y) as a function of time in minutes (x) from the first minute after the can starts dispensing water?

    The 1st value is the time, and the 2nd value is the volume remaining in the can. the can is full at time x = 0 so y = 6.0 1 minute later x = 1 so y = 6.0 - 0.25 and for every 1 unit increase in x, y decreases by 0.25
