An ice block 10 centimeters on each side melted, how much would it raise the water level in a tank that is 100 centimeters long by 40 centimeters wide?

    Volume of the ice block = 10 x 10 x 10 = 1000 cm³

    Height increased = 1000 : (100 x 40) = 1000 : 4000 = 0.25 cm

    Answer: The height will raise by 0.25cm
