    Use Pythagorean Theorem which states a^2 + b^2 = c^2 where c is the hypotenuse.

    6^2 + b^2 = 34^2

    b^2 = 34^2 - 6^2

    b^2 = 1120

    b = sqrt (1120) = 33.466
