    To solve for x first move all the x to one side and the numbers to the other side.

    -2x+3=-4/9x-1

    Add 1 to both sides

    -2x+4=-4/9x

    Add - 2x to both sides

    4=-4/9x+2x

    Get common denominators to combine the x

    4=-4/9x+18/9x

    4=14/9x

    Multiply by 9 and divide by 14 to both sides.

    4*9/14=x

    36/14=x 18/7=x
