    The 2 angles sum to 180 degrees

    x + y = 180 degrees

    7x = 2y

    y = (7x / 2)

    x + (7x / 2) = 180 degrees

    2x + 7x = 360

    9x = 360

    x = 40 degrees

    y = 140 degrees
