A new shoe comes in two colors, black and red, and in sizes from 5 to 12, including half sizes. If a pair of the shoes is chosen at random for a store display, what is the probability it will be red and a size 9 or larger?

    Because there are two colors the possiblity of it being red is 1/2

    there are 8 shoe sizes between 5 and 12 and because of the half sizes there are 15 shoe sizes (12.5 isnt included thats why its one number less than 8*2)

    so a nine or larger number would be 7

    so 7/15 and 1/2

    becaude the equation says end we multiply them giving us a result of
