    Out of all the other statements, this statement is true: "A line of x = a (where a is not zero) cannot have a y-interception"

    Option B. would be the correct answer.

    If the line is x = a, then it is perfectly a vertical line, crossing the x-axis at a, but would be unlikely to cross the y-axis. It runs parallel to the y-axis, so there would be no y-interception.
