I have a set of 19 notes, all $5 or $20, worth $215 in total. of these notes, nine are in my wallet. what is the possible range for the amount of money in my wallet

    The total number of notes in the wallet is 9.

    And all of them are either of $5 or of $20.

    So if they all are of $5, then total amount in the wallet is $5*9=$45.

    And if all of them are of $ 20, then total amount is $20*9 = $180.

    So the amount can be either $ 45 or $ 180.
