A rectangle is seven times long as the width. One way to write an expression to find the perimeter would be m+7m+m+m. Write the expression in two other ways.

    First 7w=L and w=1/7L

    so substituting each one respectively we get

    16w

    16/7L

    One way is 16m

    To get that you simply add the terms together:

    7m + 7m + m + m = 16m

    Another way is m (14 + 2)

    This one if the factorized form

    You have to expand it

    14m + 2m = 16
