An egg that has been falling for x amount of seconds has been dropped at an average speed of 16x feet per second. Given that distance is given by:

    distance=speed*time

    the distance for the egg traveling at 16x feet per second for x seconds, then

    distance covered by the egg from the top to the bottom in x will be:

    distance traveled

    =6x*x

    =6x^2 feet

    the simplified expression for the distance will be 6x^2 feet.
