How do you multiply 2 (x+14)

    You have to use the distributive property to find the answer. so you do 2 times x which is 2x, then you do 2 times 14 which is 28. You do 2x=28. then you put a line down the equal sign. then you start on the side of the variable. so you divide by 2 on both sides. so 28 divided by 2 equals 14.
