Total the dollar value of all the coins:

    10 dimes = 10 * 0.10 = $1.00

    15 nickels = 15 * 0.05 = $0.75

    8 quarters = 8 * 0.25 = $2.00

    total value: 2.00 + 1.00 + 0.75 = $3.75

    total coins: 10 + 15 + 8 = 33

expected value = total value / total coins:

    3.75 / 33 = $0.11
