A bed & bath company intends to ship out 28,457 blue blankets, and three times as many white blankets. If each box contains 55 blankets of either color, how many full boxes of blankets can be packed, and how many blankets are left over for the last box?

    28457 x 3 = 85371 white blankets

    85371 + 28457 = 113,828 total blankets

    113828/55 = 2069.6 total boxes

    so 2069 full boxes

    and 55*.6 = 33 left over blankets
