The diameter of a circle is the same length as the side of a square. The perimeter of the square is 16 cm. Find the diameter of the circle. Then find the circumference of the circle in terms pie?

    Perimeter of a square = 4*side

    by substituting

    16=4*side

    dividing by 4

    side=4

    since diameter=side

    then the circumference = d*pi

    therefore=4*pi is the circumference
