What is the asymptote of the graph of g (x) = 3x+6?

    To find the domain you set the denominator equal to zero and solve. x - 1 = 0 so x = 1. Since x = 1 will make the denominator zero, it is excluded from the domain and so the domain is "All real numbers, x ≠ 0". There is no other number that would need to be excluded from the domain.
