For football tryouts, 12 coaches and 42 players will split into groups. Each group will have the same numbers of coaches and players. What is the greatest number of groups that can be formed?

    gratest common factor for 12 and 42 is 6

    so 6 groups can be formed

    12/6 = 2

    42/6 = 7

    6 groups with 2 coaches and 7 palers
