Could someone explain to me how to find the unit value for something?

    Unit cost would be found by dividing the amount spent (total cost) by the quantity of items bought.

    for example if you bought 5 apples for 10 dollars

    the unit cost of the apple is 10 / 5 = 2 dollars per apple
