A right triangle has legs that are 10.1in and 12.2 in long. What is the approximate length of the hypotenuse?

    A^2 + b^2 = c^2 ... a and b are the legs and c is the hypotenuse

    10.1^2 + 12.2^2 = c^2

    102.01 + 148.84 = c^2

    250.85 = c^2

    sqrt 250.85 = c

    15.838 = c < = = ur hypotenuse
