    The answer is A. The vast majority of our energy generation still comes from fossil fuels such as coal, oil, and natural gas, all of which result in carbon dioxide and pollutant emissions to the atmosphere.

    Solar panels using sunlight is not an issue, because sunlight is virtually unlimited to us right now.

    Wind turbines varying power supply is not an environmental issue but a reliability one, and this is often solved by linking wind energy with others like solar or hydropower. Either way, this does not have significant environmental impact.

    People living close together is not an environmental impact either. This is more for efficient distribution of power, such as through electric substations and power lines.
