What is the area of a larger regular pentagon if the smaller pentagon has an area of 43.01 in ... The side length of the small pentagon is 5 and the side length for the large is 8.

    The answer is 68.816 inches:

    large pentagon side length / small pentagon side length = ratio

    8 / 5 = 1.6

    area of small pentagon x ratio = area of large pentagon

    43.01 x 1.6 = 68.816
