To find the amount Sherry paid, you will take the monthly charge and divide by 2. Then add the amount charged for her long distance calls.

    ($25.40/2) + $12.92

    $12.70 + $12.92

    $25.62

Sherry paid $25.62 for her portion of the phone bill.
