    Given situation = the sales price of the radio is 51.44 dollars which is discounted by 20% already. So let’s start finding the original price of the radio. = > if 51.44 dollars already subtracted with 20%, thus 51.44 is the 80% of the price. There are many ways to solve this but for me, this is the easiest way. = > 100% has 10 of 10% = > 51.44 / 8 = 6.43. Thus the 10% of the price is 6.43. Let’s get the 20% then. = > 6.43 * 2 = 12.86 - this is the sales discounted. Let’s add if we have the correct answer. = > 51.44 + 12.86 = 64.3 = > 64.3 *.20 = 12.86 = > 64.3 - 12.86 = 51.44 Thus, our answer is correct.
