    Volume is given by:

    Volume = (base area) * (height)

    hence, solving for height we get:

    height = (volume) / (base area)

    volume=30 ft³

    area=8 ft²

    Therefore the value of the height will be:

    height=30/8=3.75 ft

    we conclude that the height of the prism is 3.75 ft
