A professor wants to determine information about the Internet usage of middle school students in one state. A sample of 500 boys and girls from middle schools across the state were asked, "How do you access the Internet when you are not at school?"     I would say the answer is that the sample is from all middle school students across the state so since they are all from middle schools and also in different parts of the state, that would make them more representative than say if they were only from one part of the state or say some from lower and higher schools ie keeping the sample constant except for the location.
