    Remember the distributive property

    a (b+c) = ab+ac

    and commutative property

    a+b=b+a

    so

    distribute first

    3 (2x-3) = 3 (2x) + 3 (-3) = 6x-9

    now we have

    12+6x-9+4

    move like terms together

    6x+12-9+4

    add like terms

    6x+7

    the answer is 6x+7
