    The first thing you should know in this case is that by definition the distance is equal to the speed for time.

    We have then:

    d = v * t

    Substituting the values:

    25 = (13-1) * t

    Clearing t:

    t = (25) / (13-1) = 2.08 h

    answer:

    The competition took 2.08h
