Which is greater? - 7 or - 6?

    When discussing "greater" and "lesser", the term "greater" means

    'more positive'. So although 7 is a bigger number than 6 ... that is

    7 has the bigger absolute value ... - 6 is more positive than - 7, so

    -6 is the 'greater' of those two numbers.
