How do you find what the sides of a rectangle equal using the area and perimeter?

    Xy = 40

    2x + 2y = 48

    x = 4

    y = 10

    Because if the width is 4 and the lentis 10 then the area would be 40 (10 times 4) and the perimeter is 48 (4+4+10+10).
