    Let the width be x, then the length is 2x

    2 (x + 4 + 2x + 4) = 46

    (3x + 8) = 46/2 = 23

    3x = 23 - 8 = 15

    x = 15/3 = 5 ft

    Therefore, width is 5 feet and length is 2 (5) = 10 feet
