The floor inside the horse barn is 45 feet long and 20 feet wide. The barn has 2 floors (an upstairs and downstairs) and both floors has the same size. What is the total area for both floors of the barn

    To find area we multiple length by width

    20 times 45 is 900

    then multiply that by 2 because there are two floors that are that size

    900 times 2 is 1800

    the total area for both floors is 1800 square feet
