How fast is a bicyclist traveling in miles per hour is his tires are 27 inches in diameter and his angular speed is 5pi radians per second

    5π rad/sec = 60 x 2.5 = 150 rpm. The bicycle travels 27π inches per revolution

    150 rpm = 150 x 27π in/min = (150 x 27π x 60) / (5280 x 12) = 12.05 mph
