    The area of rectangle = 24 * 8 = 192 cm^2;

    The area of triangle = (16 * h) / 2 = 8 * h; where h = the height of the triangle;

    the rectangle and the triangle have equal areas; 192 = 8 * h;

    h = 192 : 8;

    h = 24 cm;
