Can the product of a whole number and a decimal number less than 1 ever be greater than the whole number? Give examples to support your answer.

    No. Let's say we use 10 and 0.38. 1 X 10 is 10, so if anything is lower than 1, it will be lower than 10. Therefore, 0.38 X 10 is 3.8. This is less than the whole number, 10. Hope this is clear enough.
