If we add up all of the purchases, we'd get $56.45.

Obviously, paying with a $50 bill would leave $6.45.

    If we subtract $6.45 from $20, we'd have $13.55.

$13.55 in change would look like this:

    $10 bill, a toonie ($2), a loonie ($1), two quarters ($0.25 each), and a nickel ($0.05).
